SECS Seminar on 'Dark Matter and the Universe' held

On November 30, 2017, a Seminar was held at the School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) of IUB where Dr. Talal Ahmed Chowdhury, Assistant Professor of Physics of the University of Dhaka was present as the Key Speaker. The theme of the Seminar was 'Dark Matter of the Universe: Observations, Models and Searches' and a large number of faculty and students attended the event.
Dr. Chowdhury, an expert on Particle representing Dark Matter Particle Candidates, spoke about this mysterious component of the Universe around us, whose existence we know and yet has not been detected by the scientific community. Earlier the Head of the Department, Dr. Habib Bin Muzaffar and Prof. Shahriar Khan, Dean, SECS welcomed the Speaker and introduced him to the audience. The talk was followed by a lively discussion session among the attendees.
