IEEE IUB Student Branch along with the Green Energy Research Center of Independent University, Bangladesh jointly organized the series of Seminars on January 18, 2018 held at the Department of EEE, IUB.
The first Seminar titled Microgrid-Based Power System for Rural Community was conducted by Dr. GM Shafiullah, Lecturer of Electrical Engineering at the Murdoch University, Australia. The second Seminar titled Contemporary Nanoelectronics: From Silicon to Organic 2D Materials was conducted by Dr. Mohammad Nissar Karim, a Research Fellow at Nagoya University, Japan.
Dr. M. Abdur Razzak, Head, EEE, IUB welcomed and introduced the speakers to the audience and also explained the importance of these seminar series. A total number of 65 students and faculty members from 5 different universities attended the event. The Seminar series was ended with formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mustafa Habib Chowdhury, the Counselor of IEEE IUB Student Branch.
