Top Management of ‘Teach for Bangladesh’ visits IUB
The top management of ‘Teach for Bangladesh’ (TFB), a leadership development organization that offers an internationally-recognized Fellowship, visited IUB on April 29, 2019. The team called on our Vice Chancellor Professor M. Omar Rahman and discussed various aspects of higher education and employability of IUB Graduates. Later, the team took a tour of IUB campus.
The discussion involved in developing a shared understanding of the future of higher education and employability of our graduates. It also included the steps both organizations can undertake to further develop and enhance the skill sets of IUB Graduates in order to provide them with an edge in the job market. The discussion session successfully ended with identifying areas of cooperation/common interest and actions to be taken to improve communication and flow of information between the two organizations and at the same time, enhance the employability skills of IUB Graduates.
The team from TFB consisted of Ms. Maimuna Ahmad, Founder and CEO of TFB; Mr. James Darley, Senior Executive of ‘Teach for All’, UK; Ms. Sadia Hossain, Director, Recruitment & Selection and few other officers of TFB. CGP Office coordinated the visit.
