IUB student wins the Social Venture Challenge at Harvard University
Mahamudul Hassan Tonmoy, the student of the CSE Dept. at IUB and his teammate participated in the Social Venture Challenge organized by Resolution Project at the Harvard University, USA with their project “CURE”. This year, among the top projects around the world, the winner of the Social Venture Challenge (SVC) was, “CURE” from Bangladesh.
SVC is a multi-step competition designed to inspire undergraduate students to propose impactful, socially-responsible projects (Ventures) addressing pressing social issues around the world. With this glorious achievement, Tonmoy informed IUB that “CURE” is officially launching as a start-up very soon. The dream of a radical change in the Healthcare industry of Bangladesh is another step ahead. The original app of “CURE” is coming soon to Play-store & Appstore.” “It always feels great to represent Bangladesh here in the States. Nonetheless, the feeling is way different when we end up as the Best in the World”, Tanmoy added.
