IUB students awarded at the National Hackathon on Frontier Technologies
Faiyaz Ahmed, Khandaker Sajid Mahmud & Fatema Tuj Johora, the students of CSE Dept. at IUB has awarded (TeamLambda) with their project “Porjobekhon” for the challenge category of “Introducing “Real-Time Building Construction Monitoring System” to monitor building construction for ensuring the compliance of building codes at “National Hackathon on Frontier Technologies”.
Under the ICT Division, the “Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project” with its Startup Bangladesh banner, in association with “High Commission of India in Bangladesh” and “Tech Mahindra Limited (TechM)”, the two-day long “National Hackathon on Frontier Technologies” was successfully held at IUB from February 28-29, 2020. Around 51 teams consisting of approx. 150 innovators had participated in this Hackathon with the possible technological solutions to solve the most citizen-centric 10 challenges of Bangladesh.
The top 10 innovations from this Hackathon have been awarded as winners at the closing ceremony held on February 29, 2020. The winning teams will be provided mentoring and training with Research & Development support at “Makers Lab” of TechM, India. At the same time, the necessary investment will be made in maturing the innovative project.
