BLI’s mesmerizing event at IUB
The Bangla Language Institute (BLI) at IUB executed a very captivating event to uphold the spirit of international mother language day and to pay tributes to our martyrs of independence. The program took place on March 3, 2020 at IUB campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
Prof. Milan Pagon, Vice Chancellor (Acting), IUB attended the program and spoke on the occasion. Among others, Isabelle Zsoldos, Cultural Affairs Officer, US Embassy, Dhaka and Prof. Imtiaz A Hussain, Dean (Acting), SLASS delivered their speeches.
Ms. Reefat Munmun, Head, BLI delivered the welcome speech and conducted the event.
Foreign students at IUB were the key attractions and lead performers of this colorful evening. The program consisted of a variety of performances celebrating cross-country languages including recitation of poems, songs, dances, short plays, and open dialogues.
BLI at IUB offers Bangla as a foreign language in an immersion environment. They cater to the needs of international students, researchers, scholars, diplomats, the international business community and anyone interested in learning Bangla language.
Honorable Trustees of IUB, members of the faculty and administration and large number of students enjoyed this very mesmerizing event.
