IEEE IUB SB organizes a webinar on Fake News Detection in Social Media Networks using Machine Learning Approaches

IEEE IUB Student Branch organized an online webinar on "Fake News Detection in Social Media Networks using Machine Learning Approaches" on April 9, 2021. Dr. Soumi Dutta, Associate Professor of the Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, India was the speaker of the event. The speaker was introduced and the event was moderated by Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Independent University, Bangladesh, the faculty advisor of IEEE IAS IUB SB Chapter and mentor of IEEE IUB Student Branch. The event was held on Google meet link platform and was open for all. More than 50 students from IUB and other universities from home and abroad attended the webinar. The webinar ended with a vote of thanks and handing over an e-Certificate to the speaker as a token of appreciation by Dr. Md. Kafiul Islam, Associate Professor of EEE department and the Branch counselor of IEEE IUB Student Branch.
