Dean, SECS Attends Annual Conference of Professional Engineers of California Government

The dean, SECS recently attended the annual conference of Professional Engineers of California Government (PECG), held at Palm Desert, California (Sept. 18). The PECG is dedicated to promoting the cause of Professional Engineers in California, and is similar to the Institute of Engineers of Bangladesh (IEB).
The dean promoted (one-to-one) IUB and explored the possibility of collaboration with PECG. All looked forward to the day that IUB engineering graduates will work in California, and join the PECG.
Interestingly, the 2010 president of PECG was Engr. Shabbir Ahmed of sub-continental origin.
The dean is pictured here with PECG founder Bruce Blanning, current president Robert Lumahan, two-time president John Roberts, and past president Roy Flores, who is also a graduate of the dean's alma mater (Texas A&M Univ).
