Dean SECS Presents Two papers at the International Conference on Anthropology, Adaptation, and Climate Change Regime

The dean of SECS (Prof. S. Khan) presented two of his papers at the International Conference on Anthropology, Adaptation and Resilience in Climate Change Regime, held on 22-23 October 2016 at the University of Dhaka. The conference was organized by the Dept of Anthropology. Dr. Gowher Rizvi, International Relations Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister, was the chief guest at the inauguration, held at the Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University.. The Special guests were Nick Beresford, Country director of UNDP, and Dr. Nasreen Ahmad, Pro Vice Chancellor of DU.
The papers presented by the dean were:
A. Decline in Cloud Cover in the Last 50 years from Satellite Pictures.
B. Growing Trees for Reversing Deterioration in Equilibrium of Land, River, and Sea in Ganges-Brahmaputra Delta
