IUB Choir performs in Joy Bangla Concert 2017

IUB Choir performed National Anthem in the Joy Bangla Concert 2017 held at Army Stadium on March 07, 2017. To mark the ‘Historic 7th March’, the day of delivering the famous speech by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1971, Young Bangla, a youth platform of Center for Research and Information (CRI) organized the colorful concert. State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim was present in the program.
The Concert started with the National Anthem performed by IUB Choir consisting of students studying at different departments including Noor Shila Haider, Tasnim Jahan Himu, Fakeha Yasmin Ony, Umme Habiba Momtahina, Nadia Rahman Meghla, Saraf Tasnim Chowdhury, Sifat Ara Biva, Samin Yasar, Rajandro Wath Saha, Noyon Chandra Das, Sunshine Areng, Wasimul Mustafa, S.M. Nayeem Hassan Redoy and Arif Al Mahmud. Kazi Faruque Ahmed, Deputy Director, Division of Student Affairs (DoSA) worked behind making it happen.
Popular band groups - Warfaze, Cryptic Fate, Arbovirus, Nemesis, Shironamhin, Shunno, Lalon and Chirkut - performed in this grand concert. A huge number of audiences mostly the youths enjoyed the concert with much enthusiasm.
