Japanese Recruiter Speaks at School of Engg. and Comp. Science
Sept, 17, 2017. Japanese recruiter, Yasuaki Sugita, managing director
of Link Staff, Tokyo, Japan, spoke to students of SECS and CSE,
informing them of the great opportunities in IT and Artificial
Intelligence in Japan. Famous Japanese companies are now in need of
hundreds of thousands of IT professionals over the next few years, and
are looking to Bangladeshi graduates to meet that need. Japanese
companies give about 3 years for new employees to acquire skills,
after which they can look forward to a career of 30-40 years. Starting
salaries are Tk 2 lakh / month or more.
Under new laws, Bangladeshi employees may become citizens of Japan in
as few as 5-6 years, which is less than the requirement in the US and
Europe.
Mr. Sugita is working with the Bangladeshi government for the
recruitment of our graduates. He expects to return to Bangladesh in
December with representatives of Japanese companies, who will meet and
hire our graduates.
Mr. Sugita was accompanied by Hiroyuki Tachibana of his Sales
department.. Dean Shahriar Khan, CSE Head Dr. Ashraful Amin, and EEE
head Dr. Razzak were present. Later, Mr. Sugita met Mr. Iqbal of CGP,
and the Vice Chancellor, who welcomed the initiative by Mr.Sugita and
looked forward to our graduates being hired for Japan.
Fourth year students and graduates of CSE may contact the dean SECS
for further information, and send their CV and cover letter to
