The office of Career Guidance and Placement (CGP) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a MoU signing ceremony between IUB and Mott MacDonald Bangladesh, a diverse management, engineering and development consultancy, on the 4^th July, 2012 at the permanent campus of the university in Dhaka. The agreement was signed by Prof. M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB and Mr. Farook Chowdhury, Country Director, Mott MacDonald Bangladesh. Tahmina Shafique, Manager, Bangladesh Advisory Consultancy and Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Consultant, CGP were also present on the occasion.

Under this MoU, two institutions agreed to cooperate in the development of Internship Program. The interns are to be selected twice a year following a strict process of evaluation and screening. Mott MacDonald will recruit selected students for a period of 3 months (renewable) with a scope to hire as contracted staff. The interns will be provided with training and remuneration.
