Middlesex University students present their research findings

 

Two students from Middlesex University Miss Rebecca Armstrong and Mr Hans Dibobe presented their findings in the field for their thesis, which is part of the INSPIRE Project, on the 12th of July, 2011 at IUB. They conducted their research work in Barguna and Narail of Bangladesh. Miss Tanzuma Islam Miti of IUB also presented her research findings on the same platform. The presenters talked about different factors affecting the environment and climate in Bangladesh. Professor M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor (In-Charge) was present on the occasion. Among others,  Professor Haroun Er Rashid, Dean of School of Environmental Science and Management, Dr Tanvir A Khan, Registrar, Dr. Paul Thompson of FHRC and Professor M. A. Wahab of Bangladesh Agriculture University were present.
INSPIRE (International Strategic Partnerships in Research and Education) is a collaboration project involving Independent University, Bangladesh, Middlesex University and Bangladesh Agriculture University and is funded by British Council and aims to research, identify and develop expertise in the area of Climate Change and its effects on the coastal region of Bangladesh.
