Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) observed the 41st Independence Day through a cultural programme on the 26th March, 2012 at the permanent campus at Bashundhara. Prior to the cultural programme there was food carnival on the 25th and 27th March.
Like every year Division of Students Activities (DoSA) organized the programme in which the students participated in many activities such as musical performance, fashion show, fire spinning and fireworks. To entertain the students bands like Shunno and Shironamhin also performed in the cultural programme.
