IUB sponsored relief during COVID-19 pandemic

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) sponsored relief for the needy people who are directly impacted in the lockdown situation in Bangladesh due to COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, the central management of IUB took some exceptional decisions like providing hand sanitizers (made by School of Pharmacy and Public Health at IUB), providing face masks etc. According to the suggestion of Mr. A Matin Chowdhury, Chairman, BOT, IUB shared food among the underprivileged people in Dhaka with direct involvement of IUB Officials, Clubs and students. They conducted the program at Bashundhara, Khilkhet, Kuril (30 families), Dakkhinkhan (40 families), Keraniganj (30 families), Middle Badda (30 families), Mirpur (32 families), Monipuripara (21 families) & Uttara (22 families). Each package included rice, pulses, potato, salt and oil. People are very much content with such events and they requested the organizer to stay always by them. IUB Pharmacy Department, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award at IUB, IUB Art Club, Green Planet Club, IUB Debate Club, Independent Human Resource Society, Global Gatekeepers Club gave full support to this event.
